Programs
What We Do
Pay Black Women exists to redistribute resources and rebuild power.
We move money directly into the hands of Black women, create opportunities for skill-building, and shift the narrative around who gets seen, supported, and sustained. Our programs are built with care—not control—and rooted in the lived experiences of Black women.
Our Core Pillars
-

Career- Linked Financial Support
We provide direct funding for career-related expenses that are often overlooked—but essential. From certification fees to required materials, we help Black women access the tools they need to advance, transition, or sustain their careers.
What we fund:
Training & certification program costs
Exam or licensure fees
Continuing education & credential renewal
Required curriculum, books, tools, and software
-

Career Access & Rediness Support
We offer targeted programs and workshops that address the real barriers Black women face in navigating economic opportunity—with a focus on sustainability, autonomy, and clarity in career direction.
What we offer:
Resume and application strategy workshops
Licensing navigation & credential research
Career pivot coaching
Skill-share sessions led by Black professionals and partners
-

Sponsorship & Strategic Advocacy
We don’t just prepare Black women for opportunity—we actively advocate for their advancement. Through intentional partnerships with employers, leaders, and gatekeepers, we sponsor Black women into roles, raises, and rooms where their presence has long been excluded.
This includes:
Warm referrals to hiring managers and decision-makers
Strategic introductions for paid opportunities
Backchannel support for promotions and advancement
Employer partnerships focused on equitable hiring and pay
The Collektiv In Action
Our programming is rooted in community, and The Collektiv is how we bring it all together. Through this private online network, we host virtual workshops, career coaching series, storytelling events, and curated resource hubs for members.
From live sessions to self-paced tools, The Collektiv connects you to the knowledge, support, and sisterhood needed to thrive in every stage of your professional journey.
We’re building a future where support is proactive, not performative.
